Brain Hacking

Performance optimisation in athletes is nothing new. A performance boost of 1% might make the difference between gold or silver or, not even qualifying. The past 10 years have seen the rise of mental performance boosting or what is commonly known as brain or bio hacking.

This is a fledgling field, biohacking is a very new area, accordingly almost no large-scale controlled science has been done. There is a huge and rapidly growing following in this area, which speaks to the demand for such knowledge – from the entrepreneur want-to-be to the fortune 500 CEO, to well… everyone. What simple routine changes, supplements, sleep, etc. can have an unexpectedly large influence on performance, energy and overall innovation.

SIL is developing a rapid agile science platform to get controlled scientific data on what brain or bio hacks work and the likely mechanisms behind them.
