Unlock your Brain’s Potential to Build Real Intuition and Make Better Decisions

"The Intuition Toolkit offers a breakthrough perspective on intuition based on neurological research I loved the clarity in its definition of intuition; it is inspiring and deeply original - transforming abstract concepts into a practical guide for developing and harnessing intuition in our lives."

Ed Catmull New York Times bestselling author, Co-founder Pixar and ex-President of Walt Disney Animation Studios

“Joel Pearson’s THE INTUITION TOOLKIT is a superb guide to the science and art of intuition. Pearson marries the science of psychology and a string of fascinating anecdotes to explain when and why humans should rely on intuition, and wraps his ideas in a framework that’s as useful as it is memorable. Highly recommended!”

Adam Alter, New York Times bestselling author of IRRESISTIBLE and ANATOMY of a BREAKTHROUGH

“By demystifying intuition while providing a practical guide for safer decision-making, Pearson helps businesspeople, parents, high-risk professionals, or anyone willing to trust their gut to make better choices by using information stored in the unconscious.”

"The Intuition Toolkit will appeal to fans of Malcolm Gladwell and those who were fascinated by the movie Inception" – Books+Publishing

Ten years back, my lab and I embarked on an epic quest. Our mission? To prove that human intuition isn't just a hunch—it's a real thing that science can fully explain. We wanted to pull this intriguing concept out of the shadows and into the spotlight, helping everyone understand what it is and how to use it.

In the book I introduce the world to what intuition is, and is not, and how we can define it and understand it already, with all the science we have. I take the reader through the journey of the science we did right here in my lab, but also through captivating real-life stories of people who use their intuition, to see, yes to see using unconscious information in their brain or reach out and grab objects they can’t see or even climb Everest.

I’m a huge believer that if you are going to fork out the money to spend on a book there has to be something there beyond the wonder of science and the human brain (although that can be magical in itself!). It should offer real, practical wisdom that transforms people’s lives. And that's precisely what I aimed for with this book. At its core, it's packed with actionable insights, arming you with the tools to tap into your intuition and make it a powerhouse for personal change. This isn't just another book—The Intuition Toolkit (Simon and Schuster: in Australia; Intuition in the UK) is your practical guide to understanding and using your gut feelings to make better decisions.
